    Welcome to Oconto Elementary School.  We are a 4K-4th grade elementary school and are also home to the local Head Start program.  Along with a rigorous core curriculum, we provide enrichment opportunities for all students.

    About Oconto Elementary School

    Oconto Elementary School serves about 400 students, typically ranging in ages from 3 to 10.  Our grade levels span Early Childhood, 4 Year Kindergarten, and Kindergarten through 4th Grade.  We are an Achievement Gap Reduction (AGR) school and a Schoolwide Title school, allowing us to deploy a wide range of resources to meet our students’ needs.

    Built in 2000, Oconto Elementary School is a modern building, bringing the best of 21st century technology into our classrooms.  

     We work daily to build our students into Leaders and Learners, Today and Tomorrow.

    Oconto County Public Health is now accepting car seat appointments in Oconto and Oconto Falls. Certified child passenger safety technicians will meet with parents and caregivers by appointment only to provide education, answer questions and help with care seat installation. Car seats are also available for purchase and eligible children who need a new seat may receive one at no cost. Call 920-834-7000 to schedule your appointment.

     

     

    Please note that there is NO breakfast served on days where we have a late start.

     

    School Board Meetings & Listening Sessions 

    School Board meeting take place on the 3rd Monday of every month. They start at 6:00 pm and are held in the District Community Room located at the Oconto Middle School. Every other month (February, April, June, August....) there is a Board Listening Session prior to the meeting from 5:15 pm to 5:45 pm. These sessions are held in the District Office which is also located at the Oconto Middle School. This is an opportunity for you to voice concerns to 2 of our school board members.
